Here is his original post, and what I belive he uses now:
For those of you who know me, I'm am the quintessential loot whore, and firm believer in that if my toon is better equipped then yours, given equal skill (DAoC, especially chanters are a relatively low skill class to begin with), I will pwn you happy
I am interested in having the best possible everything.
This chanter is only my alt, my main is still gonna be my Druid (who has had an equally pwnage template since March!--yes, I had 25% cast speed pre-nerf T_T), so my chanter won't be very high RR... I want to have a good template to compensate.
The requirements I had to do maximum damage:
1) Must have +spell damage high.
2) Must have +range damage high.
3) Must have +resist pierce high.
4) Must have +cast haste high.
5) Must have +magic skill high. (Tests have shown that each +skill above cap = .33% damage increase, meaning that +11 skill = 3.667% damage increase!)
6) Must have extremely high int cap.
7) Must have extremely high dex cap.
Must have high power%.
9) Must have decent resists. No point in going uber if you always get 2-shot.
10) Must have good +hp cap.
11) Must have some form of Shapeshift, preferably 2 forms.
12) Must have some form of power regeneration, preferably 2 good sources (like Tartaros and Jacina's Sash).
What I failed to do in my template:
1) Only 5% passive resist pierce. I found this mildly acceptable because everyone and their mother has Cloudsong or Crown of Zahur (including my Druid who I frequently duo with--me playing both toons).
2) Only 1 form of shapeshift. I can only be shapeshifted 66% of the time or less depending on if I die. I wanted to do Atlantis Tablet, but the utility wasn't very good imo, and I would have sacrificed range.
3) No 2nd source of power regen. Jacina's Sash would be difficult for me to get, especially since I hate PvE (hard to believe, but to be honest, all my 50's were given to me except for 2 of them, and I am very clever in making plats without pve -- scroll arbitrage, respec stone monopoly, etc). It also has zero utility, and I just couldn't make it work into a template and still meet all my needs. If this template can be modified with Jacina's Sash, I would be very interested in seeing it.
4) Wasted utility. I'm wasting utility by going 12 over acuity cap (112), 24 over hp cap, 3 over pierce cap. This is completely wasted. If items / SC could be rearranged to put those possible utility points into other areas of the template, it would be better.
5) I'm missing 1% spell haste sad I'm pretty sure +24 dex cap makes up for it, but still not enough.
6) Only 18% power. I want 25%+ if possible.
Things I would have liked, but couldn't figure out how to work it in:
1) Ceremonial Bracers - I just don't know how to make the template work with these bracers. I would love a mez-turn though.
2) Belt of Orion - It looked like an awesome belt I could use to maybe get my cast speed haste to 10%. I dunno how to work it in though.
3) Crown of Zahur or Cloudsong - They became liabilities because of the opportunity cost of integrating one of them into my template. The utilities are not flattering. But having that resist pierce / range aura would be great imo.
4) Nailah's Robes - Snare DoT proc, instead of a DoT proc. I would have preferred it, but GoV had too much +cap I couldn't get from elsewhere. I also didn't really want to PvE off setians, when I could level GoV + Scalars at the same time. I just hate PvE sad
I'm only posting this here because I want honest opinions on how I can improve it. I know I can lower my energy resist 5% and increase matter 7%, but using my excel template builder, but I have matter resist as low priority on my excel template maker, so 5% energy resist was more important. I considered using Blackened Cloak, since it offers a substantially "on-paper" higher utility than an SC'd cloak, but it would have skewed my resists distribution in a negative fashion, even though on paper, it would have increased my resists by a combined 15% instead of the 12% I'm getting from this current arrangement. I also considered Feathered Wrap or Bracer of the Deep or some uber items like that, but unless someone will trade them for my Zahur's Ring, I dunno if I can get it solo with my Chanter/Druid combo sad I have all the items for this already, and I'm planning to have the items SC'd this weekend, so please, if you have any suggestions, let me know, and hey, if you can make the template better, I'll even float a few plats your way (on Mid/Merlin, Hib/Lance, Alb/Guin, or Mordred... I'm sure you can trade the plat from one of these server to the server you're on).
And before anyone asks, yes, the template took me about 30 min to come up with in Excel. It took another like 15 min inputting the damn thing into Kort's, then this post has taken me like 45 min so far... 1 hour on company time.. shhh... happy I'm thinking something like Feathered Wrap could improve my template a lot.. but I just turned ML8 a few days ago, so I've never gotten an opportunity to get to Aerus City sad Using feathered wrap, how much better can the template get?

Yeah sorry. I'll edit the origional post to show what i have rather than close to cap.
All of the Arti's can be used or removed to best suit a better template. I made this template at the beginning of ToA and didn't have the time nor patience to lvl them. But with the recent changes, i'd thought i'd give it a go.

To answer questions...
1) The cloak is an SC'able cloak. You can swap out with a Blackened Cloak if you need.
2) Immolated Ring isn't hard to get, but it doesn't drop very often. Dark SM/RM really make the Fire Island encounter trivial (it drops off a Fire Island mob).
3) Well, Abye posted the template I'm using on Faughn... I also use this super secret artifact swapping trick which allows me to use artifacts in my inventory
So I actually do have mez-turn and crown of zahur aura, even though I don't have it SC'd in.
4) Items which can help you achieve higher dex cap (btw, read int as acu):
Silksteel Soot Stained Boots (Boots)
21int/18dex/6dexcap/6intcap/6%power
Woven Hair of Malamis (Belt)
15acu/15dex/6dexcap/7acucap/8%power
The current belt you're using (Belt of Moon) isn't really great for a uber template. The boots you're using aren't even using the maximum 37.5 imbue points. Those would be the ideal items to swap out.
5) Tartaros Gift has +power% which you don't show in your template.
6) In the traditional "killets never shows humility", I made a post a while back when I made the template called Ultimate Caster Template:

It turns out its only the ultimate Enchanter template. Most casters don't need to max out 2 spell lines to +11 skill. If you do however, then my template is ideal. If you don't, you can use all the utility used for +skill in my template to something else most likely.
