We really need to get a stable BWC TS server for WoW guys. Kim has been kind enough to allow us access to Phish's guilds TS server but a guild this size needs its own. Also, who knows what Phish is doing to poor Kim to make her earn the rights.

We also need to get on the same page on which server we will play and how to make sure the Swedes are there with us.

Honestly WoW is much more item driven then race drive. Blizzard said they wanted to allow people to play any race w/o being gimped to hell. On paper Tauren get the mad strength, Undead get the racial bonus (IMO) and orcs are the well rounded race (orcs are the hordes equivelent to humans). Any of these are solid warriors.

I have done some small TS Hosting in the past with my cable line, it hold around 8-10 people before it over saturates the line.

I would suggest we find someone with some serious bandwith or rent one. I have about 5-10 old DS guys that might join us for WoW.

Law pretty much hit it right on. One or two points difference in stats(which is all that will be different between any two warriors with the same gear) won't matter too much in the long run as typical items have something like +10-25ish in said stats. If I was going to suggest a Warrior type for a first time player, I would probably suggest Tauren (due to the fact that they spend no money on a mount, and can thus be better equipped sooner, enabling them and their guildmates to do higher content sooner) or an Undead (simply because at this point, their racial traits are pretty damn nice).

Just click on the class you are interested in and it will show you the starting stats for any race that can be said class, as well as the skills (weapon wise) that you are capable of learning with said class. If pure numbers are your thing that will help you pick your starting class I suppose. Also, these pages are at least a little bit outdated since no classes purchase skills via SP anymore, it's all done via money now.

Also note, as with other games, specific stats are more important to specific races, IE. with the exception of Hunters and Rogues, str is the only stat used for DPS it's also a factor in determining how much physical damage a shield wearing class will block if the blow is not fully deflected. Agi helps with armor values, dodge %ages, crit %ages, block %ages and parry %ages. I believe that Sta is just for HPs currently, and every class benefits the same from +Sta (10 HPs per point of sta). Spirit effects health and mana regen.
