I intend getting a macro going to swap all my gear out so when I die I die nekkid to save the 10% dur hit.

Zoid I dont think thats possible since the put it in so you can switch armor in mid combat, I'm not positive though.

i thought cosmos was ok because it was just a UI.. i wouldnt know yet, i didnt even install it yet.

i dont think you can switch armors in combat. i tried. only weapons can swap.

maybe bracers and cloaks work.

It is a custom UI, I was talking to cripp about it last night, he said he's pretty sure it's banned also :/

Cosmos isn't banned. Some of the features may not work anymore, but Blizzard has encouraged and allowed the use of custom user interfaces.

As far swapping out your equipment, that won't matter because all items in your inventory with a durability rating, worn or not, suffer the durability hit when you die.
