Why do we use Ventrilo? Is it free to host or something? Because it sounds horrible. :huh:

It does depend on who is on the other end if it is rhuac you are trying to hear / understand odds are it is him and not the software. Hell you can't even understand him when he is two feet from you.

Ventrill is so much better than TS in my opinion

Only time I have trouble hearing others is when their mic is messed up.

I've never ahd a problem with TS and the interface is much nicer than Ventrilo :bigups:

Vent sounds better and has significantly less network and memory impact. Only disadvantage is having to pay a host for more than 8 connections. I am looking for the older version that has unlimited connections, we have 10 people who like to connect and I see no reason to pay someone else. I'ld buy ventrilo if they would sell it to me.
Venderic, Candide or Mercutio in games.
