Blizzard first nerf is warriors?

"Mortal Strike changed to deal weapon damage + a flat amount (85, 110, 135, 160) instead of percentage-based damage. Additional ranks available on Warrior trainers"

Fucking stupid Blizzard they have Paladins who are vitualy invincible, mages who deal unreal damage, and they nerf warriors.

Fuck you Blizzard is how I feel right now and I am totally turned off, I am not taking the DAOC class rollercoaster bullshit all over again.

I may consider DW now that Blizzard is fucking things up though I am first taking a sober look at if I want to keep playing this fucking bullshit nonsense of a programers ignorance.

since my bro kandar first told me of MS i knew it would b nerfed somehow
but think about it winke relying on one move to handle all ur dmg in pve,pvp would not only leave u open to attack but also nerfed in the fact that u get 1 move to help u do dmg and if its not on ur shit?

ive been reading some posts and the best thing i get from them is Stances are the way to win. Tactical master is a class defining skill and essential to winning with the warrior. last night by luck but still impressed myself i beat a 37 rogue with my 35 warrior although alot of it was criticals

i got stabbed, u do ur own self-rage buff i disarmed, debilitated, stunned and just heroic striked all i could luckily i pulled off 2 crit and 1 crit with heroic strike and i beat him!! im no pvp master but i held my own and i had to change stances 3 times if only i had a decent 2 hander i could've really dealt it out.

i read some phatty posts dude ill hook u up. now if i can just figure out how to fuckin macro that shit is hard.

Sux man I feel you pain on that one.

It may be a small set-back but i'm sure the class is still playable. Look when DAOc First started and how badly archers got a beat down. Hunter's have never recovered from it.

Blizzard likes to make stealth changes so that might be the first publicly announced nerf but im sure there have been tons of stealth nerfs already.

Can't say anything bad about my Paladin it's been incredible. Daminion plays a warrior and they need a serious BOOST ... I just don't understand why Blizzard isn't doing more for them. I played a warrior to 13 and after playing my mage in closed beta I just dropped him since he was pathetic in comparison.

40+ warriors begin to shine (from what I see grouping with them) but until then they are very frustrating to play. I'd recommend grinding it out to 40+ before changing classes since in the end they will get a boost otherwise if you want more abilities/dmg output roll a rogue; they are uber. I normally out-aggro equal level warriors (without heals) and it's 50/50 with rogues/hunters. Then again I'm almost full retribution spec maximizing 2h offensive power and with my 40dps axe I hit for 300'ish average and crit up to 700. ATM warriors are just meat shields (at level 40'ish) with decent damage output. They need to boost both offensive and defensive abilities bigtime though.

Paladins are truly uber, I often group with 3 pallies at a time and with our aura's up we can literally destroy anything +3/4 levels higher than us, take on 4+ mobs equal level easily and I can solo most equal level elites rather handily. Only thing I miss is range which I'm considering engineering to compensate for .... most of my PVP fights involve people running from me and I can't catch them.

The free horse thing is something that actually bothers me ... why do we get free horses when others have to pay 80-100g ... just doesn't seem fair.

I'm convinced that all Blizzard devs play Pallys and Shamans and they will never get a single nerf.

Pally's are tough, but beatable if played by a gimp in RL.

The best one-on-one fight I have had to date was with a pally. It lasted literally 10 minutes, with my pet dead, him/her running low on mana healing whenever poss, me drinking pots, using bandages, and using wing clip / kiting like a mofo. It finally ended in a draw when she decided to stop chasing me and I got out of dodge.

I've played with some seriously brain dead shaman in Pug's and I've played with "The Peoples Shaman" so I have seen both sides of the shaman coin. Good players are REALLY good, bad players suck ass

BTW I was rolling at the office when I read this little gem from Parker on VN

You better bring your guild cupcake because I find you its going to take a pack of lvl 60 paladins to remove my digital foot from your ass.



I don't know jack about warriors, so I don't know how bad this "nerf" really is.

Winke needs to get his ass back in game tho!!!!
