Done with WoW for now..

Daemic and I have stopped playing WoW for now. With the holidays and getting Catacombs, were still playing DAOC.

Yes, were lame.

We actually re-rolled on Alb Guin for a new thing and it's been fun actually. Catacombs is really nice for lvl'ing. Not looking forward to ToA'ing tho.

WoW was fun and different. But just didn't grab me for now. Maybe in a month or two, when the PvP stuff is actually in place, we'll check it out again.

Anyway. Keep kicking ass, and if/when we come back, were still allowed /os chat. Nothing better than the close friends of BWC jaw-jacking it up.

Yup, me and chrissy are done with WoW too. Once I got into the 30's, i no longer enjoyed playing. I am finishing out the grind on my Healer on Mordred and I'm actually having alot more fun playing there than I was with WoW.

Who knows I might come back to WoW someday but I just got tired of running around so much. I really do enjoy planting my ass at a camp with some friends and grindig it out while watching tv or a movie.

Anyways, me and chrissy got in a pretty sweet guild on Mordred if anyone wants to join us I'm sure we could get you in.. 40+ only. GL with WoW guys!

The grind definately sucks in WoW.

See you've played DAOC so long Matt you just don't realize it when you're faced with a fun leveling grind... Seriously I'm 57 now and you know what, I've never sat staring at my xp bar going OMG WHY CAN'T I LEVEL... I remember on my first two characters grinding all night in the same dungeon/camp just to get a couple bubbles. Sure it was 'fun' then but in comparison... WoW has done it alot better.

So many things are better in WoW that DAOC... off the top of my head... buffbots... non existent in WoW. In fact if you want buffs you just take up, what's that?! Oh a crafting skill like alchemy and cooking... and you're buffed OMG!

And for people to gripe about PvP... I freakin remember when there weren't rewards for PvP in DAOC... when the only thing you got out of a Realm Rank was a realm guard saluting you. I found it rather annoying you couldn't fight over towns and such. But you know, people will do whatever is 'fun' I suppose. I just happen to think my notion of 'fun' is alot more enjoyable.

So to sum it up, I hate you Matt... MOTHA FUCKIN HATE! you hear me?! I think I might just go to Vegas this year... so I can punch you in your damn left eye.

OK not really... I'm just trying to maintain a certain level of hate... I can't help it if you're on the receiving end. Have fun carrying Mythic to their grave.
