Alliance guild Molten Core runs when? (first one Wed 7pm CST

Postby SuperHelix » Sun Feb 06, 2005 12:08 pm

Let's try to do Molten Core runs of 30+ people with all the alliance guilds every Tuesday.

I will let ED, Redux, and Oblit know.

If we can't do this, then we can zerg LBRS and UBRS with the people that do come.

Without at least 30 people, its a waste of time, and there is a 5-7 day lockout period as well.

Thoughts? Let's shoot for next Wednesday.

You can't farm raid instances like you do normal instances. From what I understand once you kill a raid instance boss you can't go back to that instance for 5-7 days. The stuff doesn't respawn or something until 5-7 days are up.

uh, why do it in the middle of the week at such a late time? If it's going to be at 7pm central it should be on friday. Besides, I have class Monday and Tuesday nights, and a few people have to log around 10pm est on weekdays. 8pm est fridays seems like it would be better, except that some people would have to decide to either stay home and raid on friday, or go out, rather than some people just flat out not being able to make it due to work the next morning or classes/work that night. /shrug

Well, if it's on Tuesday nights I won't be able to make it at all due to having class until 10pm est, and if it starts at 8 Ceregon will only be able to stay for two hours. That already puts you down a Warrior and a Priest, which are two classes you can't be in short supply of on an MC raid.

I'm just saying, that there may be better days to do this than on a weekday, especially if you are going to start it that late. I'm home at 5 on Thursday and we can run from 5-10, but then alot of WC people won't be able to show up. I think the best bet would be to do it on Friday night, or Saturday from like noon - ? That would give us all the time we need to learn and to run around, and not really pressure anyone that has to leave to try and push through it as fast as possible. At least if it's on a Friday and someone chooses to go out instead of come, it's a concious choice that the individual made, rather than work/school related.

We can plan for Friday nights, but I think that's not good, we won't get good participation....

I rather plan for Saturday days or Sunday days.

What do we think is better?

Either way we are going to try one this Wednesday and see what happens.

I think Saturday days is good. I'm usually off by noon. I think we should wait until Saturday to try though, get more gear from ubrs/strath/scholo during the week, and start fresh on a day where people have several hours to dedicate before going out or whatever. It would suck having half of us locked out of the instance for a week, and then have to wait more to set it up for Saturday.

When I get to level 60, I vote for Saturdays.

But that'll be in a few weeks so no rush on me :)
