Ony Campaign

Postby Hall » Tue Feb 08, 2005 2:02 pm

Here is the bottom line from your friendly nieborhood elitest. Blizzard is doing away with Raid/Quest dropping shit SOON. As such we need to get on the fucking wagon and kill Onyxia. Now why would I say that. Well simple it is ALOT easier to kill Ony than Ragnaros. And I want us along with Reso etc to be the 1st not some mamby pamby zerg guild. We already know how to get the key its a long as quest BUT. Its easy, ya see we can do 5 steps at a time if we load up the old Raid Grp with as many pertinant personal who can do it. then we kill general in LBRS and so begins the quest. So bottom line we will need to do this and soon.

Love your Elite Blue Friend

What exactly does this mean? What are you saying/guessing at?

Quests won't drop loot? I don't get it.

In raid instances like upper BRS there are quests for 5 mans where if u drop from the raid u are aloud a 60 second period of time before you are ported out. In an oversight by Blizz you are aloud to pick up quests or if its a kill thing at 20% mob hp u drop raid and wack it alowing you to get the remains or the slay or whatever gives creadit

So even though in groups you can get quest credit, you can't in raids, so people drop raid to get around that.

That the gist of it?

Why would you think Blizzard is changing this?

Why would there be quests for things that require raids to kill, but that you can't get credit for?

Quests are designed for single to full group. Dropping out of a raid to claim a quest item is not what Bliz intended.

lol,

thanks for the heads up winke.

This is gonna suck ass for hunters, because alot of these higher lvl instance encounters are tough.

Why would a group take a hunter when they could fill that spot with another mage or a 2nd preist or really any other class thats more useful in dungeons.

Just my 2 cents worth
