law is right in that many of the old/core gm's /officers aren't playin much or in diff guilds ect. which means those complaining need to step and start trying to lead in either pve/pvp you are right that it is hard for a unknown to get others to follow them it's a real bitch i have been there

takes time to build up peoples trust you have to work at it keep trying guild raids or open raids will be frustrating as shit but as time goes on if you are good more and more people will trust and follow you also those trying should always be given a chance so they will keep trying


and wtf open recruitment? since when did that shit start ? in daoc you had to post join bwc groups and have a few ppl say your cool to even get in and thats if the class was needed should really go back to that policy otherwise you have to sift thru alot of shitty ppl randomly joining

Out of 30 posts we have 25 complaints 4 people that have cheered 'step up' and 1 person trying for answers. This is beginning to sound like my work day.

yesterday some lv 44 something said he was leaving the guild because, " its to high level for me". total horse shit. there are about 6 people in that range, and i dont recall him once asking to join any groups.


so maybe what we should do is make more of an effort to get people of similar level to quest and grind together, maybe have a 60 along to speed things up some. also, one can raid astranaar at about 36, so dont feel like eyou have to be 60 to do that. hell, i used to raid that place alone, killing off the npc and some of the gaurds. it can be done.

also, is there some kinda 'crafters corner' where we know who can make what and what it needs to be made?

PV I'll co-lead raids with you just get me the people like you usually do. As long as I have a healer and people listen we pwn. You want UD just let me know when and get people ready, I'll handle the rest. I recently almost finished live side with 5 man, granted we were all studs but thats a diff story.

Raid leaders are all based on reputation. People are 100x more willing to go on raids when they know it will be
* Fast and efficient
* Organized
* Likely to be successfull

An officer title doesn't make someone a good leader, nor should all officers lead raids. Some of them it's just not their strength. But some non-officers might be great raid leaders. And maybe that makes them future officers....

So step up and lead. If people find your raids to be like I listed above, you won't have a hard time getting a raid together. And yes, maybe for the new people it's hard to initially build that rep so that people are willing to drop what they are doing when you call, but once you have a reputation, it gets alot easier.

If im in ORG and see someone spaming that ive raidied with before I'll go, If a guildie is asking for more for a raid and im free I'll go, rarely do I say "No I dont want to go."

Im 60, and Ive been grouping with guildies LOTS lately, we did a nice BRD run for the MC entrance quest and then went to UBRS- suprisingly for us (All 10 of us, together same place I know OMG) It went really well.

So I think maybe things are getting better - or at least ppl are more willing to go on things as of lately, I sure as hell am--- So if Im around Hit me up and It's 90% that you'll get me to come
