Guild Goals for the week

First....I dont like falling behind the main group although I never seem to be in the main group with my play hours. It sucks falling behind but I do want to thank the guild for getting alot of us lowbies up to within a range to be able to level together. We at the lower ranks still lack tanks it seems like and a sorcerer as Sno and his GF are at 33 i believe. My second account does not have Cata so I cant do instances with her.

I am going to try to get my main cleric up and keep up with the second group as much as possible. I will help out others as I get the chance but Clerics really cant powerlevel anyone.

Was really nice to see people helping others out yesterday.

Tanks are really lacking at the moment. We tried to start a group w/ me, Snodiug, and Gwenevant, and some lower chars, but 3 caster types can't really PL in the instances since half the crap pops out right on top of you, and with a group of 6, you get 2-3 baf everytime.

We were having trouble last night when it was Niko, Myself, Torch, Liader, Philll and Daemic. Niko being the only tank type in the group and being 3 levels below everyone really hurt us. On top of that the Minstrels (myself and Philll) couldnt get a mezz off to save our lives.

I think another part of the problem we're most likely having is gear.

Hard to keep up with it, since you don't get much loot running instances. I've got a pile of gold, hit my first plat, and have been trying to buy aurolite, but everyone is using it for gear right now.

I'm going to try and find someplace to farm some gear tonight, does anyone know anywhere around level 35 that is good for drops?

I'm thinking one of the "regular" areas of catacombs for now, but I don't know alb, so if there is a big drop area at this level, let me know.

Auralite gear is expensive, takes a powerlevel session to come out with enough for 1 item at vendors.

Is there anywhere/anyhow to farm this stuff more reliably?

Sure, we can wait until the high level guys are able to feed a bunch to the lower level guys, but that will take a long time.

DF seal farming would be another option, but I doubt we'll see DF much. =P

Kim is getting her spellcrafting up, at that point it will just take cash to make an item. But we'd need a crafted item to spellcraft.

I'll take a look at the Keltoi instance tonight.

If the mobs con green, I can basically chain kill them, probably around 10 a minute, since I don't need to worry about pow or end.

Your right on the SC/Tailor/AC/WC though, and I'm willing to help anyone out with funds who is doing that.

As for actually doing it, I'd rather take a drill and see how far I get into my skull before I pass out, heh.

I'm hoping we can get a leveling group in Gwyndneau/Caldey, like 2 groups with 2 necros. There is a big PL spot that drops chain, weapons, cloth and some staves. Maybe we can do it tonight when people log on.

Josh the best way to get auralite is to spend a bit of time solo or duo in the instances. You get considerably less experience but equiping yourself is not a problem. I've always had enough auralite to buy a new set of armour whenever the next higher tier cons red. (But then I wasn't level 30 after 3 hours /played like Zoid ).

The sad thing about Aurulite is the drop rate is not high enough for groups. I dislike solo'ing but seems to be a necessary evil unless 40+ useable item drops start picking up. Would be really nice if Mythic tweaked the Aurulite drops up a bit (at least on classic servers) for groups.

I really lucked out my first day in Alb with that PL session ... guess I was meant to play Alb/Lam.

FYI for about a week starting next Tuesday my evening playtime is going to be nerfed somewhat. Cele/Hall have access now and maybe I can expand that circle to other officers and old friends if it's needed next week to get people up a few levels.

Going to do my best to hit 44 by Sunday if possible so my freelevel in 2 days will count for a bit more.
