Some people when they play single player games, like to put games on the easiest mode possible, while others like to put the difficulty all the way up and struggle through. Neither is right or wrong, but the guy on easy mode probably doesn't deserve bragging rights. 
Albion is no doubt "nightmare" mode of difficulty for DAOC RVR and not for the people wanting an easy ride. Well, I'll amend that: Albion without a zerg is expert mode. Luckily for the realm of Alb on most servers a zerg is not hard to find. But not on Lamorak.
I will repeat my claim that any FOTM mid or hib group will never really know how good they are, because so much is set up perfect for you.
Insta AE CC - check
Insta AE interupt - check (spammable in the case of hib)
Two mezzers - check
Secondary CC - check
Secondary healing - check
Multiple buffers - check
End regen in every group - check
The right RA's in every group - SOS, AM, DI, Icor - check
Mids - disease - check
Mids - a couple of chars with nothing better to do than shear - check ( I really envy that on my cleric. But every time I shear, someone dies =P )
I fully expect our groups to lose equal number fights against any true mid or hib gank guild that knows what they are doing. And sometimes we do. But when we win, there is no doubt in my mind we were better players - in spite of our gimped chars and class dynamics. It's like playing quake on Nightmare.
BWC was never a true gank guild with perfect 8mans. But there were a few true 8mans from other servers that came to Alb Lamorak - Dizzy, Bedlam, Free Rp's, etc. And much respect to them, I hope they do well.

We lost fights to Dizzy and free RP's they play very well. Mids are toughest and I think have the most advanatages. What is desperately challenging for Hibs (coming form the #1 shaman on Andred) is we lost our AE root, druids only spec Nurture/Regrow no one spec's nature. Loosing Root is a huge disadvantage.

Yes, we were the caster bomb group. Only caster group on hib to my knowledge consistently. And no, we don't zerg. It was a straight up 8v8 right by the river.
We roll pretty much 1 consistent 8man, interchanging between a total of 15 active RvR's.

I rolled Alb/Lamo with Arctic Darkness (they're from mid/lance). So far we've done quite alright, we're #1 in RPs of alb guilds and in top5 in weekly RPs. Usually we don't lose any 8vs8 fights, be that against hibs or mids. So it's not THAT difficult to do well with alb groups, you just have to play well and do what the char does best.
Just sucks with all the assjamming. Altho most guilds say they never assjam, there are only few that won't.
And yeah, prolly you haven't heard of AD, since not many of us reads or writes stuff to VNBoards. We let the RPs do the talking.

.We just got done with a fight and saw you jerkys behind us. We knew if we engaged we would get the big AJ. I normally don't run from fights but we knew it would be a loss 
After that most logged then we just released Surs and took crim looking for an 8-man to fight in hib. Sadly no hibs came out they all want to do is zerg even trip and LARFO.
In the end no one cares about adding or zerging everyone is fighting to achieve Realm Rank. We did get Trip in a 8-man and everytime they started loosing they dove for water trying to water exploit heal and cast. WE still raped them though. Artic Darkness and Team AMESOME we have both meet in a 8-man and both are VERY good. If you don't have SoS and a damn good assist train your dead. I haven't yet been able to catch Winkies Guild outa of the hib Zerg except that ONE time those ummm......guards killed them ummm.... by the tower..... yea
