this week for RvR?
I've made about 50-60k this weekend. Josh made about 70-80K this weekend maybe more. Hloden made about 50k or more. The clerics in guild are rr3-4s. So where the hell is everyone else?
We have people hitting 50 and none of you asshats who got 50 are online.
And to those who are 40 something, start leveling faster. Abuse the lower TD till 45. Hell I'll group you with my alt which is 38. Then from 45-47.9 PUG it, to coordinate with free level and quest to 50.
Like Chris said, the competition is getting higher in realm rank. It's getting harder for us (clerics in guild) to find decent groups to run RvR with. And getting much harder to compete with other guilds. Don't want to be behind the curve anymore.
If things don't look well in about 2 weeks, I'll probably go back to a normal server for consistent RvR or join another guild on Lamorak.

school starts in two weeks and it's senior year so who knows what the hell i'll be doing. School work load won't be hard but i need to get a job to pay for insurance on a car if i ever get enough cash to get one

I understand real life concerns. In game vs real life, real life should win. But if the majority of the guild is unable to level up and RVR enough to keep up with the Trolls and Celts out there, then we are going to be a substandard guild. And I don't want to be in a substandard guild.
Is the solution really that we need the lowbies to finish levelling? Why do we have to have a fully in guild 8 man group all the time? Are we only going to RVR when we have the perfect guild group and are unwilling to ever invite someone out of guild?
Zuse dinged 250k last night by running in PUG's. And most have been acceptably good pugs, with almost zilch of my time running in some other guilds leet group. I have a decent IRS and my groups win more than we lose. What more can you want than that? Well, grouping with guildies would be nice, but we need guildies online first. And the core, the must classes are Mintrel, Sorcerer, and Clerics. But if we don't have those, we can recruit!
So every night I join a PUG, and we sit and recruit the classes we need. How is that any different than what our guild should be doing with each other? Don't have Tiny online to play a sorc? Recruit one for the night. Don't have a Minstrel? Recruit one. Shit, on Saturday night we grouped Mosthula for 3 hours of fun productive RVR and he was level 46 at the time. But it worked. And it was fun. And we made a progress on getting people some RA's to be competitive.
The excuse that we are waiting for other people to be able to RVR is over.

I would rather run with 6 guildies and a out of guild sorc and Minstrel than to have no sorc or minstrel and an extra two guilded heretics. Albion has by far the hardest time making a good group, though there is not a single perfect group we've gotta have. The key thing is we need:
at least caster speed, but preferably Minstrel or the radaring mids (or winke's group) will always assjam.

I don't get invites to RvR PUGs, because Mercs are a dime a dozen, and most PUGs recruit friends/associates of the people in the group. Since I leveled with just you guys, I don't know many people from other guilds. If there is noone online when I get on, I'm not going to waste my night waiting on more people to show up. I haven't played an alt passed level 5 on any other server since Lamorak started. I do want to RvR, but I'm not going to sit on my ass for two hours, to have half an hour's worth of decent RvR. I have better things to do with my time. If people are looking for a Merc and I'm not in game, you can message me on AIM, pr0phet0929. If I don't answer then I'm probably working or in class/doing homework. Sometimes I might be out and about with friends, but I almost always have an away message up, so message me even if it's up, if I'm home, and at the computer then I'll log in, but I'm not going to sit around in game waiting and hoping to get a group.
Edit: Just of note, a Cleric's ability to get RvR pugs doesn't accurately represent the rest of the classes ability to get RvR pugs. Each decent group is going to need two Clerics, and they are perhaps one of the least played, yet most needed classes in the realm. I have never before been asked more than once in an entire 6-10 hour gaming session if my Merc needed/wanted an RvR group. Most of the times when I log on in the evenings (around 8-9pm PST) theres basically only 2 or 3 other people on (mostly non 50s leveling) And if there are other 50s online their either already in a full pug rvr group, running in a DS grp or farming for plat. Everytime I log in its always the same old thing, I end up spamming "theurg lfg" in front of beno, bold and CS for about half and hour and I get no invites, so I just decide to log out. And yea, there are still tons of people on during this time of the night, so the excuse of there being little people to group with is not justifiable. Its not a big deal if this only happens a few times, but when it becomes a routine everytime I log on it just tends to get a tad bit annoying.
Also, I just wanna say that I wanna stay committed... I really do. But with my current busy schedule on weekdays and weekends along with the fact that I'm preparing to leave for basic training in just 2 weeks makes my playtime extremely limited. I log on from time to time during the day whenever I have the extra time but whenever I do there's barely any guildies on to start a rvr group with so I just log off. I don't have any alts on ANY server nor do I ever plan to make one because I truly hate the level grind in this game, besides I don't have the time anyway. So my theurg is my only character and will always be, unless the guild desperately needs another class to compete with.
And last but definitely not least I just wanna say that with me going to the military soon, I'm gonna be cancelling my account within the week since I gotta pack up the comp and the rest of my other stuff... with that said I probably won't be back for a few months, I project that i'll be back during December or January (at the earliest) so plz don't boot me from guild

I think its pathetic that there is talk of giving up on the guild. We have 5 people hitting 50 this week alone and Im going to be pissed if everyone bails as soon as that happens. I could have saved myself a lot of damn effort of leveling up this toon.
I keep seeing complaint of how slow this group coming up now has leveled up and im tired of that too. If you guys wanted us up faster then you could have all immediately helped us hit 50 after you raced out of the gates. Instead you guys went off to rvr for a bit (which I understand) and the worse part leveled up toons to almost 40 in that time when you could have been helping out. Im sorry but us hitting 50 in 6 weeks isnt that damn slow. 7 days played in 6 weeks, comes out to 3.9 hours a day played.
I seem to recall the whole purpose of us going to the Albion side is we wanted a little more casual group. Doesnt sound casual anymore.

I can't speak for the original poster, but I know my post last week was because no one seemed to be on levelling at all. The last few days have been different, with people hitting 50, and lots of people in their 40's about to.
As for helping people level, I have really mixed feelings on that. Everyone at 50 pretty much spent as much time getting to 50 as the rest of the guild, just compressed it into a shorter time. I know I did it for the most part solo, with no real PLs (a guild group PLd me from L11 to L18 or something), and no plat, crafting, or spare armor/weapons. Now that I'm at 50, I'll help out a bit where I can, but after grinding up to 50, I'm not always going to be in the mood to grind XP for 3-4 hours with little or no benefit to myself. I've been dumping gear into the guild house vault, PLing people where I can, and trying to help out. What makes it worse is that often when I PL someone, it takes away someone who could be helping someone else level in a group. Saw some good groups in the guild of level 40's on the weekened.
Everyone's frustrations seem to be stemming from the same thing. From the looks of it, everyone wants to have a guild to run with when they hit 50, or now if they haven't already, and are worried that might not happen. We really just have to look at the reality of it.
In order to have at least one guild group running, you really need to have the key classes at 50, and logged in at the same time. If thats not happening, then we most likely need to try and recruit some if no one that level is coming up. At this stage, we should be able to figure out what L50's we'll have, what times they play, and go from there to figure things out.
