Graphics look incredible.

Anyone know when game comes out ?

I cant play wow, its only good for people that dont work and have nothing to do all day, I cant raid 5 times a week, its nuts.

Daoc is dead, I retried for the 8th time, but game is just too old, and Mythic just so slow to fix old problems (it scares me for War)

I will buy a xbox 360 soon, want to play gears of wars,

but I need a big game that I can explore and level, maybe this game could help a bit.

I still say of all the upcoming MMOs, Age of Conan is where it's at. We all know what features are like before they release, but AoC has the best, solid pvp with purpose, player cities, none autoattack combat, player controled resources for crafting, etc.
Venderic, Candide or Mercutio in games.

Every game has the potential to become the next Dark and Light too, you have to weed threw the PR and hype the get into beta to find out if it's worth it or not. If you hang around on a few dev boards they toss out beta's like candy. It's just takes a little more involvement then waiting for fileplanet to host a open beta before a big release.

I think it's sad that betas have turned into basically a demo. They serve little purpose for what they were intended anymore.

Most beta programs are a joke.

My biggest concern here is that the game designers have repeatedly said Vangard is the game for people who thought EQ style raids were for wimps, and want something hardcore. They have no interest in the casual gamer. While none of us are casual gamers really, I think those aspects appeal to us more. With PvP being an afterthought, and specific mentioning that they won't ever balance classes to PvP, I really don't see the appeal in this game beyond the initial PvE. Once you get the Raid levels, the game would lose interest to me.

Just my thoughts, I'll always check it out tho.
